Chandler, Mr N W (agricultural engineering, meteorological observation)

N.W. Chandler was appointed at the Elsenburg School of Agriculture, Stellenbosch, on 26 November 1902 as instructor in engineering. From 1903 to at least 1908 he was in charge of the second order meteorological station there, as well as an evaporation station, equipped by the Meteorological Commission of the Cape of Good Hope. He was still lecturer in engineering at the School in 1914.
