As part of its centenary celebrations in 2002, S2A3 launched a project to collect biographical information about persons who contributed to southern African science from its beginnings. Most persons who became scientifically active before 1910 have now been written up, though the information on many of them is still incomplete. With your help we hope to extend the database to more modern times.It currently contains biographical information on 2216 persons.
