Wentworth, Miss Catherine Charlotte Delgairns (butterfly collection)

Catherine Charlotte Delgairns Wentworth was the daughter of medical doctor Charles Augustus Wentworth and his second wife Elizabeth (Eliza) Dalgairns. At some time before 1887 she presented a fine collection of butterflies from Knysna to Roland Trimen* at the South African Museum, Cape Town. Trimen acknowledged her donation in the Preface of his book South African butterflies... (1887-1889). On 7 April 1863 Miss Wentworth married Dr Joseph James Muskett, who spent most of his medical career from 1859 to 1893 at Knysna.
