Catherine Charlotte Dalgairns Wentworth was the daughter of medical doctor Charles Augustus Wentworth and his second wife Elizabeth (Eliza) Dalgairns. At some time before 1887 she presented a fine collection of butterflies from Knysna to Roland Trimen* at the South African Museum, Cape Town. Trimen acknowledged her donation in the Preface of his book South African butterflies... (1887-1889). Later, but still before or in 1887, Miss Wentworth married Dr Joseph James Muskett, who spent most of his medical career from 1859 to 1893 at Knysna. He died in 1912.
