Arthur T. Alexander was the author of a publication entitled Water boring: a complete guide for Cape Colony (23 p.), which was published in Port Elizabeth in 1906. He may well have been the owner of the firm Alexander & Co. of Port Elizabeth, irrigation engineers, machinery and indenting agents.
