Brown, Dr Henry Victor (veterinary science)

Born: 2 May 1912, Harare, Zimbabwe .
Died: 7 March 1955, Johannesburg, South Africa .

Henry V. Brown qualified as a veterinarian (BVSc) in the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Pretoria at Onderstepoort in 1931. He was appointed Research Officer at Onderstepoort in the same year, but resigned in 1936 to take up an appointment as Pathologist and Bacteriologist at the Insein Veterinary Laboratory in Burma. After completing his contract he returned to South Africa and worked in private practice in Johannesburg until his death in 1955.
