J. Kitchener Wilson was a cyanider at May Consolidated Gold Mining Company, Germiston. He became a member of the Chemical, Metallurgical and Mining Society of South Africa in 1904 and was the author of "Notes on the occurrence and treatment of an auriferous ore containing insoluble arsenides", published in the society's Journal (1906/7, Vol. 7, pp. 244-248).
