Kincaid, Mr Scott (shell collection)

Died: 1925, Place not known.

Scott Kincaid resided in Grahamstown, where he worked for a building firm. He also collected non-marine molluscs, mainly in the Albany district, and exchanged information and specimens with H.C. Burnup* of Pietermaritzburg. After his death in 1925 his collection was sold. The marine mollusc Columbella kincaidi and the non-marine species Trachycystis kincaidi were named after him.
